Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN)

Position Summary

The Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in emergency nursing and the ability to work effectively under pressure.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive patient assessments and nursing interventions.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor patient conditions and respond promptly to changes in status.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Educate patients and families on health management and preventative care.
• Document all patient care activities accurately in accordance with policies and procedures.
• Participate in departmental initiatives to improve patient care and outcomes.

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in an emergency department setting.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment skills and critical thinking abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.

Location

This position is situated in a dynamic emergency care environment in City, State.

Shift Information

This role requires commitment to evening shifts from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM.
