Endoscopy Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Endoscopy Registered Nurse (RN) to join a dynamic healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess experience in both gastrointestinal (GI) and pulmonary endoscopy procedures.

Unit Information

• Location: Webster, TX
• Number of Beds: 4 rooms
• Number of Staff: 10
• Patient Ratios: 1:1 for procedures, 1:2 in PACU
• Type of Equipment: Various endoscopy equipment
• Electronic Medical Record (EMR): Meditech

Responsibilities

• Assist in endoscopic procedures including EGD, colonoscopy, ERCP, bronchoscopy, ION robot bronchoscopy, and EGD with ultrasound.
• Provide high-quality care and support to patients through all phases of procedures.
• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team.
• Ensure a safe and sterile environment for both staff and patients.
• Monitor patients in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU).

Qualifications

• Required Experience: Endoscopy experience (GI and Pulmonology) or solid PACU experience.
• Preferred Experience: PACU experience.
• Required Certifications: BCLS, ACLS.
• Personality Fit: Outgoing and team-oriented.

• Scrub Color: Royal Blue

Additional Information

• Weekend and on-call availability required: 1-2 days a week and 1 weekend per month.
