Endoscopy Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Endoscopy Registered Nurse (RN) with relevant experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills and the ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with endoscopic procedures, including EGD, colonoscopy, ERCP, and bronchoscopic examinations.
• Provide direct patient care in the Endoscopy unit.
• Work collaboratively with the surgical team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions before, during, and after procedures.
• Educate patients and families regarding procedures and post-operative care.
• Maintain a sterile environment and adhere to infection control protocols.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a GI lab or OR setting.
• Experience in a hospital or Surgery Center is required.
• Prior experience with various endoscopic procedures is essential.
• Current RN license in the state of practice.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a team and manage time efficiently.

Work Schedule

The position requires availability for 10-hour shifts from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM.
