Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for the CVOR unit specializing in pre-operative cardiovascular care. This role requires critical care nursing experience, with an emphasis on pre-op processes.

Responsibilities:

• Administer large-bore IV starts and perform chin to toe hair removal
• Conduct medication administration and skin assessments
• Assist with arterial line, central line, and epidural placements
• Transport patients to the operating room and assist with induction/intubation
• Assist with patient positioning and skin preparation

Requirements:

• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Proficient in BCMA, excellent documentation
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, high-acuity patient area
• Strong communication skills with interdepartmental teams
• Good critical thinking skills
