Position Overview

The Travel Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) will deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients undergoing surgical procedures. This position requires collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes throughout the perioperative process.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the CVOR setting, ensuring adherence to best practices and safety protocols.
• Monitor patient vital signs and conditions before, during, and after surgical procedures.
• Assist surgeons and surgical teams during operations, including preparation and handling of instruments.
• Educate patients and their families regarding the surgical process and post-operative care.
• Participate in patient assessments and contribute to care planning and implementation.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities.

Qualifications

• Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a cardiovascular operating room setting.
• Knowledge of surgical procedures, instruments, and equipment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
