Job Description:

Registered Nurse responsible for caring for patients in the CVOR unit, handling open heart, complex thoracic, and vascular cases, as well as providing patient support with devices like impella, IABP, CRRT, and ECMO.

Responsibilities:

• Provide care for patients recovering from cardiac surgeries, thoracic, and vascular cases.
• Work with advanced cardiac support technologies.
• Titrate drips including vasopressors, paralytics, and sedation as required.
• Read and interpret telemetry strips independently.
• Participate in floating assignments to all inpatient units as needed.

Requirements:

• BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Minimum one year of experience with this patient population.
• Must be able to pass an open book exam on skills learned with a 90% score.
