Job Description:

The Registered Nurse in the CVICU Float Pool will provide care for patients with complex cardiovascular conditions. This role involves managing multiple types of advanced equipment while adhering to the hospital’s standards and protocols.

Responsibilities:

• Titration of Vesicant Meds
• Familiarity with Pressors, Sedation, and Paralytics
• Experience with Vents, Trachs, and telemetry interpretation
• Understanding of Hemodynamics and PA Catheter set up and interpretation
• Transvenous pacing and Cardioversion
• Execution of procedures such as Central line insertion, EGD, Bronchoscopy, Chest Tube insertions

Requirements:

• ICU experience required
• Experience with Titration of Vesicant Meds
• Familiarity with Pressors, Sedation, and Paralytics
• Understanding of Hemodynamics and PA Catheter set up and interpretation
• Advanced skills desirable: IABP, Impella, CRRT
