RN – Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU)

Shift: Nights, 18:45-07:15

Contract Length: 13 weeks

Start Date: 05/12/2026

Job Description:

The use of tobacco products is prohibited in all buildings, entrances, and properties on Mission Health campuses. This includes, but is not limited to, personal vehicles in campus designated parking.

Responsibilities:

Titration of Vesicant Meds
Familiarity with Pressors
Sedation and Paralytics
Experience with Vents, Trachs, telemetry interpretation
Understanding of Hemodynamics and PA Catheter set up and interpretation
Transvenous pacing
Cardioversion
Procedures such as Central line insertion, EGD, Bronchoscopy, Chest Tube insertions, Pericardiocentesis, Thoracentesis

Requirements:

ICU experience required
Must have skills: Titration of Vesicant Meds, Familiarity with Pressors, Sedation, Paralytics, experience with Vents, Trachs, telemetry interpretation, Understanding of Hemodynamics and PA Catheter set up and interpretation
Advanced skills desirable: IABP, Impella, CRRT
Certifications: None required, CCRN recommended
