Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for a challenging role in the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU). This position is critical in providing high-quality care to patients undergoing cardiovascular procedures and requiring intensive monitoring and intervention.
Responsibilities
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the healthcare team.
- Monitor patient vital signs and report any significant changes in condition.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Conduct thorough assessments, including physical evaluations and patient histories.
- Provide patient education regarding health management and recovery processes.
- Document all patient interactions and care provided in accordance with established protocols.
Qualifications
- Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a CVICU or similar critical care setting.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Work Schedule
This position is scheduled from 7 AM to 7 PM. Flexibility may be required based on patient needs and unit staffing.
Location
This position is based in Arlington, TX.
