Job Description:

This position is for a Registered Nurse in the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU), responsible for the care of adult and geriatric patients with cardiac, thoracic, vascular, and other surgical conditions requiring critical care.

Responsibilities:

• Provide post-operative recovery care and complex invasive hemodynamic monitoring.
• Exhibit high levels of professional competency in a 4-bed unit focused on patient-centered care.
• Must be willing to float to other units and hospitals as needed.

Requirements:

• 2 years of recent CVICU experience is required.
• Active AL or Compact License (No temporary licenses accepted).
• AHA BLS, NIHSS required. AHA PALS preferred if working in the pediatric unit.
• Must have an ASN degree.
