Job Description:

The Registered Nurse in the Cardiac Cath Lab is responsible for providing direct nursing care, including assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care in a high-acuity cardiac catheterization setting. The role involves collaboration with a multidisciplinary team and compliance with hospital policies and procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures.
• Assist with TAVR and Mitraclip procedures, peripheral vascular cases, and STEMI tertiary referral cases.
• Ensure patient safety and monitor during procedures using technology such as Rotablator, IVUS, Shockwave, Impella, and Balloon Pumps.

Requirements:

• Valid RN license to submit.
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS.
• Highly preferred scrub experience.
• Experience with Cerner and Merge Hemodynamics for Cath Lab documentation.
• Not employed full time, part-time, or PRN by any facility associated with CommonSpirit, including CHI and/or Dignity within the past year.
• Successful completion of DYS Exam through UNA prior to contract signing.
