Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

Join our dynamic Cardiac Catheterization and Electrophysiology (EP) Lab Holding Area team, where nurses provide specialized care across the continuum of procedural services. The Holding Area serves as a critical hub for pre-procedure preparation, post-procedure recovery, and Phase I/II PACU-level care for patients with coronary artery disease, structural heart disease, peripheral vascular disease, cardiac arrhythmias, and heart failure.

Responsibilities

• Conduct patient assessments and provide education based on individual needs.
• Support procedures with the necessary clinical skills and knowledge.
• Monitor hemodynamic status throughout procedures.
• Oversee recovery from moderate sedation and implement appropriate care protocols.
• Manage acute and non-acute clinical situations in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment.
• Commit to delivering exceptional patient outcomes through collaborative practices.

Schedule

This position requires a commitment of 40 hours per week, consisting of four 10-hour shifts with a day/night rotation and occasional weekends based on unit needs.

Qualifications

• Valid RN License
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
• Telemetry experience
• Recent experience in Cath and EP Lab preferred
