General Information

• Unit Specifics:
  • Number of Beds: 59
  • Patient Ratios: 4 patients per day – Mix of Outpatient (OP), Inpatient (IP), and OP Modified Barium Swallow Studies (MBSS)
• Type of Equipment: X-ray for Modified Barium Swallows
• Documentation System: Meditech
• Scheduling Requirements: Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM
• Floating Policy: Will float as needed from Outpatient to Inpatient

Job Responsibilities

• Perform outpatient and inpatient assessments for swallowing, voice, and language.
• Conduct Modified Barium Swallow studies.

Qualifications

• Required Skill Set: Must have Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP).
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years experience preferred.

Required uniform: Scrubs
