Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for a freestanding outpatient therapy clinic located in Brookings, OR. This position is primarily focused on providing rehabilitation services to patients in an outpatient setting.

Assignment Details

• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM
• Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
• Contract Length: 13 weeks, with the possibility of extending to 26 weeks
• Setting: Outpatient rehabilitation
• Patient Volume: Typically 8–12 patients per day
• Caseload: General orthopedics, including hips, knees, shoulders, and back, with occasional neuro/CVA cases
• Appointment Times: 45-minute follow-up treatments
• EMR System: WebPT
• Weekends/Call: None
• Holidays: Clinic is closed

Responsibilities

The PTA will deliver treatments according to the established plan of care developed by the Physical Therapist. The clinic prioritizes individualized, one-on-one patient care in a non-high volume environment.

• Active Oregon PTA license required prior to start
