Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)

Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for an immediate start. The successful candidate will provide both inpatient and outpatient therapies in a supportive healthcare environment.

Setting

• Inpatient and Outpatient

Work Schedule

• Shifts: Either 5x8s or 4x10s DAYS (Please indicate preferred shift on submission)
• GHS: 40 hours per week
• Weekends: None
• Holiday Rotation: None
• Float Requirements: None
• On Call/Call Back Requirements: None

Contract Length

Duration: 6 weeks with potential for extension

Qualifications

• Certifications required: AHA BLS, and Kansas state license/compact
• Education: Associate of Applied Science or Associate of Science from a CAPTE-accredited program
• Minimum experience: 2+ years of experience in both inpatient evaluations and therapy and outpatient settings

Technology

EMR: Currently using Therapy Source and transitioning to ReDoc in the near future.

Unit Overview

• 20 bed Critical Access Hospital (CAH)
• 1 Physical Therapy room
• Typical Staffing Ratios: 2 full-time PTs and 1 current PTA
