Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)

Position Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our team. This role involves working in both inpatient and outpatient settings, with a focus on delivering high-quality rehabilitative care to a diverse patient population ranging from high school-aged individuals to the elderly.

Work Schedule

This position requires availability Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for both inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation.
• Assist with post-surgical rehabilitation programs.
• Utilize manual therapy techniques to enhance patient outcomes.
• Adapt treatment plans based on fluctuating patient needs, including occasional coverage in swing bed services.
• Maintain accurate documentation using electronic medical records (EMR) software, specifically Cerner.

Qualifications

• Relevant experience in both inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation settings.
• Strong skills in manual therapy, particularly for outpatient post-surgical rehabilitation.
• Ability to work effectively with a range of age groups, from adolescents to elderly patients.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
