Job Description:
The Physical Therapist will provide acute inpatient rehabilitation services. The therapist will evaluate and treat patients with various diagnoses, including general medical conditions, deconditioning, TKA, THA, spinal surgeries, general orthopedic conditions, and CVA.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and treat patients within the acute inpatient setting.
- Cover Medical/Surgical, ICU, and ER areas as required.
- Work primarily from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, with some days from 10:00 am to 6:30 pm.
- Participate in department-specific orientation and general hospital orientation.
Requirements:
- Current California PT license.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Acute inpatient PT experience.
- Ability to float as needed and cover weekend shifts every third weekend.
