Job Title: Travel Physical Therapist

Shift: Days, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM, Monday – Friday, floating required

Job Description:

Eastern NM Travel Physical Therapist needed to provide care in a hybrid of acute and ambulatory rehab settings. This role includes coverage in both acute and orthopedic environments. Occasional weekend coverage may be required based on hospital needs. The PT will be the lone provider in the inpatient setting and must possess the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities:

• Develop personalized treatment plans to improve patient mobility and reduce pain.
• Prevent loss of mobility by promoting fitness and wellness programs.
• Float to various departments as needed to provide patient care.

Requirements:

• 1+ years of experience required, with at least one year of inpatient experience outside of student clinicals.
• NM PT license can be pending at the time of submission, but must be obtained before start.
• DPT preferred and experience with Meditech documentation system.
• Competency in CMS skilled criteria and medical necessity guidelines.
• Acute and ortho experience required.
• Fingerprinting required for all NM travelers.
