Job Description:

Provides full-time, quality outpatient and inpatient physical therapy care. Treats all patient age ranges and diagnoses within the State of Alaska’s physical therapy scope of practice. Incorporates evidenced-based medicine into patient plans of care. Exemplifies professional conduct, patient care ethics, and respect for cultural diversity when rendering patient care. Modifies patient care plans appropriately, using age-specific and patient-specific considerations.

Responsibilities:

• Provide physical therapy care to outpatient and inpatient clients.
• Develop patient plans of care incorporating evidence-based medicine.
• Modify care plans with age-specific and patient-specific considerations.
• Uphold professional conduct and respect cultural diversity in patient care.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited program in Physical Therapy.
• Licensed in good standing in Alaska as a Physical Therapist, or completion of FSBPT paperwork for Student Physical Therapist.
• Current BLS certification.
• Ability to operate a personal computer and utilize the Internet for medical literature.
• Skills in analyzing, interpreting, and composing medical documentation.
• Effective communication with medical staff and administrative personnel.
