Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist to join our Inpatient Rehabilitation team. This position involves working with a diverse patient population, focusing on helping individuals regain mobility and function after injuries or surgeries.

Unit Information

• Number of Beds: 28
• Patient Ratios: 4-6 patients per caseload; average treatment of 3-4 patients per day, occasionally up to 5 patients.
• Staffing: 2 therapy techs during weekdays, 1 on weekends.
• Documentation System: Meditech
• Type of Equipment:
  • Hi-low mats
  • Nustep
  • Parallel bars
  • Steps
  • Balls and weights
  • Car simulator
  • Bioness L200 and H300
  • BITS interactive computer system
• Scheduling Requirements: Weekdays from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, with flexibility on start and end times; participation in a weekend rotation is required.
• Floating Policy: No floating

Qualifications

• Years of Experience Required: 1 year in inpatient rehabilitation preferred.
• Certifications Required: BLS certification.
• Skills: Experience with inpatient rehabilitation and the Care Tool is preferred.
