Rehabilitation Therapist

General Information

We are seeking a skilled Rehabilitation Therapist to join our team for a 13-week contract. The position is full-time with rotating weekends, working from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.

Unit Overview

• Number of Beds: 23
• Patient Ratios: Caseload of 4-6 patients
• Equipment: Various rehabilitation therapy equipment
• Electronic Medical Record (EMR) System: Meditech; transitioning to Meditech Expanse on May 14

Qualifications

Must Have:

• BCLS certification
• Inpatient rehabilitation experience

Preferred:

• Experience with skilled therapy techniques

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled therapy to patients in a rehabilitation setting
• Adapt therapeutic approaches based on patient needs and progress
• Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to optimize patient care

Required Certifications

• CPR Certification
• Texas State License

Floating Policy

Staff may be required to float to other rehabilitation locations if census levels are low.

Weekends and Schedule

This position requires availability for rotating weekends.

Experience Requirement

Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience is required.
