Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)

Position Overview

A Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) is needed for an outpatient therapy clinic in Brookings, OR. This position is not home health-based; patients will come to the clinic for their treatments.

Schedule

• Monday – Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
• Guaranteed Hours: 40 per week

Contract Details

• Duration: 13 weeks (with potential to extend to 26 weeks)

Setting

This role is in an outpatient setting, providing a variety of services.

Caseload

• General orthopedic cases, including hips, knees, shoulders, back, and neck.
• Occasional experience with neurological conditions (CVA).
• Typically manage 8–12 patients per day.

Patient Care

• Evaluations: 60 minutes
• Follow-up sessions: 45 minutes

Technology

The clinic utilizes WebPT for electronic medical records (EMR).

Additional Information

• No weekends or on-call duties required.
• The clinic will be closed on holidays.
• This is not a high-volume therapy practice, providing strong opportunities for one-on-one patient care.
