Job Details

Schedule: 4 days a week, 9 hours per day; weekends will rotate.

Contract Duration: 13 weeks

Shift Hours: 8:00 AM – 5:30 PM

Unit Name: Inpatient Physical Therapy

Number of Beds: 86

Average Patient Ratios: 1 therapist to 10 patients

Documentation System: Meditech Expanse

Scheduling Requirements: Every other weekend, totaling 36 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Required Certifications: New Hampshire Physical Therapy License, Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Experience: Minimum 2 years of acute inpatient physical therapy experience
• Skills: Ability to evaluate, treat, and prioritize a caseload

Duties and Responsibilities

The Physical Therapist will be responsible for evaluating and treating patients in an inpatient setting. The role requires prioritizing caseload effectively while ensuring high-quality patient care.

Unit Guidelines and Policies

The unit operates under established policies and guidelines that can be made available upon request.

Team Information

Staff members on the unit have a minimum of 10 years of experience, providing a wealth of knowledge and expertise. Co-treatment opportunities with occupational therapy are also available.
