Pediatric Physical Therapist

Job Details

We are seeking a dedicated Pediatric Physical Therapist to join our team. This position primarily focuses on outpatient care with some opportunities for early intervention and assistance with inpatient acute care.

Unit Information

The role is within the Pediatric PT Outpatient unit, treating patients with a wide range of diagnoses including:

• Developmental Delay
• Autism
• Torticollis
• Orthopedic Conditions

The average number of patients treated per day is around 8-10.

Shift Details

• Work Schedule: Tuesday to Friday
• Shift Length: 10 to 12 hours
• Hours: 36-40 hours per week
• Self-scheduling is allowed with blocked time for inpatient evaluations and documentation.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Pediatric Physical Therapy required.
• Current BLS certification (AHA) is necessary.
• CO PT license or compact PT license required.
• Experience with both pediatric and adult patients is preferred.

Work Environment

This role is mainly outpatient but may include occasional inpatient work. We also have access to a warm water therapy pool, enhancing treatment options.

Team Structure

You will be working alongside a Pediatric PTA and under the supervision of the PT Manager/Supervisor.

Additional Requirements

• Weekend availability is minimal and only involves occasional on-call duties.
• No specific holiday requirements.
• Dress Code: Scrubs or business casual attire.

Orientation and Training

A department-specific orientation will occur during the first week of employment.
