We are currently seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist for a contract position. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional care to patients in both acute and outpatient settings.

General Information

The unit serves both acute and outpatient therapy needs, accommodating a range of patients efficiently.

• Number of Beds: Covers acute and outpatient therapy needs
• Number of Staff: 1
• Type of Staff:
  • Day Shift: 4 Physical Therapists
  • Night Shift: N/A
• Patient Ratios: 12-15 patients in acute; 5-6 patients in outpatient
• EMR: Meditech
• Permanent Positions Available: Yes

Qualifications

Must Have:

• Current Texas State License in Physical Therapy
• Experience in outpatient and acute care settings

Preferred:

• Bilingual candidates preferred, as the patient demographic includes a significant Hispanic population

Typical Responsibilities

• Conduct Physical Therapy evaluations and reassessments
• Provide treatments for both acute and outpatient patients as needed

• Energetic and able to manage diverse personalities within the healthcare team and with physicians

Dress Code

• Scrub Color: Navy
• No crocs or visible tattoos; hairstyles must comply with CDC guidelines for N95 users

Unit Guidelines/Policies

• Follow AIDET and ICARES standards as outlined by the unit
