Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Physical Therapist to join our dynamic Rehabilitation Therapy team. This position is focused on providing high-quality care to patients within an inpatient rehabilitation setting.

General Information

• Unit Details:
  • Number of Beds: 44
  • Patient Ratios: 4:1
  • Unit Staffing: 10 OT/PT teams, 3 speech therapists, 1 technician
  • Type of Equipment: Sara Lifts, Ceiling Lifts, Bioness, Diego
  • Documentation System: Meditech Expanse
• Schedule Requirements: Monday to Friday, 8-hour shifts between 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM; weekend rotations required
• Floating Policy: Potential for floating to acute care settings if the rehabilitation census is low
• Patient Experience Requirements: Utilize AIDET communication and implement immediate service recovery strategies

Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in a hospital setting, preferably in inpatient rehabilitation
• Patient Care: Proficiency in stroke evaluation and treatment is preferred
• Skills: Manual therapy for neuro re-education, therapeutic exercise, functional activity, neuromuscular re-education, self-care, and functional electrical stimulation

Dress Code

Required uniform includes black scrub bottoms and a royal blue top.
