Unit Information

Join a therapy staff that services an entire facility, featuring a 28-bed inpatient rehabilitation facility (IRF) and an acute care hospital with an average census of 240 patients.

• Number of Staff: 17 Physical Therapists (Full-time and PRN)
• Patient Ratios: 4 patients/day (IRF), 8-12 patients/day (acute care)
• Type of Equipment: 2 therapy gyms, Vector, LiteGait, ADL Apartment

Job Responsibilities

• Conduct evaluations and create treatment plans for patients.
• Deliver therapy treatments and assess patient progress.
• Participate in team conferences and provide family training.
• Utilize adaptive devices and specialized equipment as needed.

Qualifications

Ideal candidates will possess a strong skill set that includes:

• Must Have:
  • Willingness to work on the IRF unit
  • Critical thinking and clinical reasoning skills
• Preferred:
  • Hospital/IRF experience
  • Experience with stroke and neuro patients

Unit Policies

• 1 weekend shift per month policy
• Active Physical Therapy license and current BLS certification required
