Physical Therapist

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist to join our team. This is a full-time position requiring a commitment of 40 hours per week, from Monday to Friday. The role offers a variable lunch period of 30 to 60 minutes, along with flexible start times of either 7:30 AM or 8:00 AM.

Responsibilities

• Conduct patient assessments and develop tailored treatment plans.
• Provide therapeutic activities and exercise programs to patients.
• Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as necessary.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient records using EPIC electronic medical record system.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Educate patients and their families on therapeutic exercises and health maintenance.

Qualifications

• Education: Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree is required (for those licensed on or after January 2016) or a foreign equivalent.
• Experience: A minimum of 2 years of physical therapy experience is preferred.
• Licenses/Certifications:
• Current Physical Therapy licensure in the state of practice is required.
• Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor is required per organizational policy.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in the EPIC electronic health record system is essential.
