Physical Therapist

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist for an ASAP start in both inpatient and outpatient settings. This position offers the flexibility of either 5x8s or 4x10s shift options during the day. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both inpatient evaluations and therapy, as well as outpatient experience.

Job Details

• Setting: Inpatient and Outpatient
• Shift: Either 5x8s or 4x10s (please specify preferred shift)
• Hours: 40 hours per week
• Weekends: None
• Holiday Rotation: None
• Float Requirements: None
• On Call/Call Back Requirements: None
• Length: 6 weeks with potential to extend

Qualifications

• AHA BLS Certification
• Kansas state license or compact
• Education: Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) from a CAPTE-accredited program
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in both inpatient and outpatient settings

Technical Requirements

Experience with EMR: Therapy Source, transitioning to ReDoc soon.

Unit Overview

• Facility Type: Critical Access Hospital (CAH)
• Bed Capacity: 20 beds
• PT Room: 1 dedicated therapy room
• Staffing Ratios: Currently 2 full-time Physical Therapists and 1 Physical Therapist Assistant
• Uniforms: Scrub colors – Any
