Physical Therapist (PT)

Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Physical Therapist to join our outpatient team. This role focuses primarily on orthopedic and neurological rehabilitation in a supportive environment.

Shift Details

• Shift: Monday to Friday
• Hours: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
• Shift Length: 8 hours
• Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week

Unit Information

The position is located in an outpatient setting, with a patient mix of approximately 80% orthopedic cases and 20% neurological cases.

Patient Care Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients in a timely and effective manner.
• Conduct a maximum of 3 evaluations per day, following up with treatment sessions.
• Follow a 1:1 treatment ratio for evaluations and high-acuity neurological patients, while maintaining a 2:1 ratio for follow-up treatments.
• Manage an average caseload of 8 to 16 patients per day, depending on the mix of evaluations and follow-up treatments.

Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum of 1 year in a physical therapy role.
• Certifications: Current BLS Certification is required.
