Job Description

We are currently seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist to join our team at a skilled nursing facility located in Estero, FL. This is a temporary part-time position.

Position Details

• Schedule: Monday through Friday
• Weekly Hours: 40 hours
• Start Date: ASAP

Facility Information

This facility features approximately 150 beds and provides quality care services within the long-term care sector.

Role Responsibilities

• Assess and evaluate patients’ physical abilities to develop effective treatment plans.
• Implement and supervise rehabilitation programs to enhance patients’ mobility and functional independence.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and treatment plans.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Educate patients and their families on physical therapy strategies and rehabilitation exercises.

Qualifications

• Valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist.
• Experience in long-term care or skilled nursing facilities preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• Commitment to providing exceptional patient care.
