Physical Therapist

General Information

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist to join our Inpatient Rehabilitation team. The ideal candidate will possess the necessary experience and certifications to provide exceptional care to patients recovering from various conditions.

Unit Specifics

• Number of Beds: 36
• Patient Ratios: 1:4
• Documentation System: Meditech Magic/Expanse (transitioning July 10)
• Scheduling Requirements: Days Monday to Friday, Weekends rotate

Hiring Profile

Requested Skill Set

• Inpatient rehabilitation experience (Care Tool trained)
• Experience in neurology, orthopedics, traumatic brain injury (TBI), spinal cord injury (SCI)
• Familiarity with estim and other therapeutic modalities

Certifications Required

• Occupational Therapist Registered/Licensed (OTR/L)
• CPR Basic Life Support (BLS)

Dress Code

Gray scrubs are required.

Additional Information

Our unit offers an engaging work environment with several patient mobility aids, including portable and in-room lifts. We utilize Bioness equipment and Functional Electrical Stimulation (FES). Additionally, we offer pet therapy, a supportive therapy team, and an interactive medical team with ongoing food celebrations to foster a collaborative atmosphere. We encourage support through our stroke committee support group.

Experience Requirement

Minimum of 2 years of experience is preferred.
