Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist to join our team. The position requires flexibility to cover both inpatient and outpatient areas. The ideal candidate should be comfortable working with a diverse patient population, ranging from high school students to the elderly.

Schedule

This is a part-time position, requiring availability from Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM.

Work Environment

The Physical Therapist will be involved in both inpatient and outpatient care. The outpatient department currently has a long waitlist, while the number of swing beds can fluctuate. As such, the therapist must be adaptable to cover both areas as needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide manual therapy techniques for outpatient rehabilitation.
• Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Deliver post-surgical rehabilitation to outpatient clients.
• Collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals.
• Utilize Cerner for electronic medical records management.

Qualifications

• Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist.
• Experience in manual therapy and post-surgical rehab preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, diverse environment.

Patient Population

The Physical Therapist will work with a varied age group, including high school-aged patients to elderly individuals, ensuring a comprehensive approach to care for all.
