Physical Therapist (PT) or Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)

Facility Overview

Join our dynamic outpatient clinic specializing in general orthopedic care with a focus on balance-related conditions. Our team consists of 2 Physical Therapists and 2 Physical Therapist Assistants dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care.

Position Summary

We are seeking a Physical Therapist (PT) preferred; however, we are open to considering qualified Physical Therapist Assistants (PTA). The ideal candidate will have previous outpatient experience and a passion for helping patients recover from various orthopedic issues.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct initial evaluations for patients, dedicating one hour for a comprehensive assessment.
• Manage a case load of approximately 50 patient visits per week, performing about 10 evaluations weekly.
• Provide treatment for a wide range of conditions including, but not limited to:
• Total Joint Replacement
• TMJ Dysfunction
• Thoracic Outlet Syndrome
• Stenosis
• SI Joint Dysfunction
• Rotator Cuff Repair (Post-Operative Care)
• Postural Dysfunction
• Various types of pain such as Plantar Fasciitis, Osteoarthritis, and Low Back Pain
• Injuries including Meniscus Tears, Fractures, and ACL Tears
• Collaborate with support staff to enhance patient experience and care outcomes.

Patient Population

The clinic serves a diverse patient population including adolescents, adults, and geriatrics, with focus on their unique orthopedic and balance-related challenges.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of outpatient experience preferred.
• New graduates will not be considered.

Schedule Details

• Monday, Wednesday, and Friday: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
• Tuesday and Thursday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Ideal schedule is 5 days a week (5×8); 4-day schedule (4×10) may be considered.

Documentation System

The clinic utilizes NextGen for documentation, allowing for efficient patient record management.

Staff Support

Our team is supported by 2 Patient Experience Coordinators to facilitate patient interactions and clinic operations.

Additional Information

Dress code is business casual, including slacks, professional shirts, and closed-toe shoes. This position offers a temp-to-perm opportunity.
