Physical Therapist (PT)

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Physical Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will primarily work in acute care, covering mid-level critical care floors, med-surgical floors, and the orthopedic floor. The schedule is negotiable, with hours available between 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM, including options for 4-10 hour shifts and 5-8 hour shifts. Weekend coverage may also be planned in advance.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide evaluations and treatment primarily in an inpatient rehabilitation unit.
• Maintain efficiency while treating patients and completing documentation within an 8-hour workday.
• Collaborate with a team of six Physical Therapists on weekdays and one to three on weekends.
• Attend to a maximum of four patients in the inpatient rehabilitation facility and ensure 22 treatment units are completed daily.
• Occasionally cover the orthopedic unit and med-surgical floors as needed.

Schedule Details

• Work period: 11/16/26 through 12/13/26 in Lufkin; potential weekend shifts involved.
• Subsequent work period: 12/14/26 through 1/9/27 in Livingston; primarily Monday through Friday without weekend shifts.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Physical Therapist.
• BLS Certification is required.
• Ability to work independently and manage patient caseload effectively.
• Willingness to work in inpatient rehab and orthopedic settings.
