Physical Therapist

Job Description

An opportunity has arisen for a full-time Physical Therapist in an outpatient setting located in Glenwood Springs, CO. This position is for a traveler covering a leave ending on 5/23/26.

Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

• Evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans for various diagnoses.
• Aim to improve patients’ strength, range of motion, balance, safety, and overall function.
• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs to support recovery.

Schedule

This position requires the therapist to work 40 hours per week, typically in a schedule of four 10-hour days.

Housing Opportunity

Newly remodeled studio apartments are available just half a block from the hospital. These fully furnished apartments include Wi-Fi, utilities, and on-site laundry; they are provided to travelers based on availability during their assignment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy.
• Current Colorado PT licensure or Compact license for Colorado.
• A minimum of two years of experience as a Physical Therapist; three to five years is preferred.
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
• Flu vaccination is mandatory, with no declinations accepted, required between October 1st and April 1st.

Shift Information

Shifts will consist of four 10-hour days with alternating weekdays. Holiday coverage is required.

Minimum Years of Experience

A minimum of two years of experience is required.

Certifications / Requirements

• BLS/BCLS certification is required.
