Job Title: Occupational Therapist (OT) – Rehab

City/State: Carlsbad, New Mexico

Shift: Days, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday & one Saturday per month, holidays required

Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description:

The Occupational Therapist facilitates the development and rehabilitation of physically disabled persons; maximizing the functional status of hospitalized patients. Responsibilities are to evaluate, plan, implement, and modify age-appropriate treatment programs, participate in discharge planning, perform administrative duties, participate in PI, pursue professional growth, and perform other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities:

• Perform OT evaluations, treatments, attend care plan meetings, develop care plans, and participate in discharge planning.

Requirements:

• 1+ years of experience required
• BLS & NM or state licensure required
• Acute care experience required
