Job Description:
Seeking an Occupational Therapist for home-based care, primarily covering a geographical region with flexible scheduling. Majority of work hours are Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm, with a requirement to work every 3rd weekend and minor holidays. Responsible for providing rehabilitation services to patients with orthopedic, stroke, joint, and spinal injury diagnoses. Experience with Oasis documentation is required.
Responsibilities:
- Provide occupational therapy services in a home health setting.
- Complete required documentation using Cerner EMR system.
- Collaborate with rehabilitation aides, OTAs, and PTAs, who are primarily permanent staff.
- Participate in a floor-specific orientation program lasting 1.5-2 weeks.
Requirements:
- BLS Certification.
- Experience with Oasis documentation.
- Minimum of one year relevant PT/OT/Speech experience.
- Preferred home setting experience.
