Job Description:
The Occupational Therapist specializing in Hand Therapy will provide therapeutic services to patients with neuro, hand, and lymphedema diagnoses. The role involves working under supervision with a dedicated rehab team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and treat patients with hand therapy needs.
- Utilize splinting techniques and other therapeutic equipment.
- Document treatment plans and progress in EPIC charting system.
- Collaborate with rehab supervisors and team members.
Requirements:
- SD licensure in Occupational Therapy.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) credential may be required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy.
- Experience with splinting techniques and equipment.
