Job Description:
The Occupational Therapist will work in a rehabilitation setting within Marian & Arroyo Grande, focusing on home-based care. The role includes working with patients with orthopedic needs, strokes, joint replacements, and spinal injuries.
Responsibilities:
- Provide occupational therapy services in a home-based care setting.
- Collaborate with permanent staff members including Rehab Aides, OTAs, and PTAs.
- Attend to patients with various needs, particularly in orthopedic and neurological rehabilitation.
- Ensure completion of Oasis (government mandated form) documentation.
- Cover assigned geographical regions as needed.
Requirements:
- Experience with Oasis documentation.
- At least one year experience working as an OT, preferably in a home care setting.
- BLS Certification required.
