Job Description:

Occupational Therapist needed for a full-time 26-week contract in a Level II Trauma Center. Responsibilities include patient evaluations, chart reviews, and providing care for a variety of patient types including general medicine, neuro, ortho, cardiac, respiratory, trauma, surgical, ICU, and joint replacement.

Responsibilities:

• Perform patient evaluations and provide therapy for assigned patients.
• Collaborate with a physical therapist for workflow efficiency during orientation.
• Manage daily tasks, including chart reviews, scheduling, and patient care/evaluations.
• Participate in daily huddles and maintain accurate documentation.
• Transfer patients with lines and drains in an acute care hospital setting.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• Active Occupational Therapist license – KSBHA Required.
• NBCOT certification preferred.
• BLS certification within the first 90 days if not already obtained.
• Experience with Epic systems preferred.
• Comfort and experience in an acute care hospital setting required.
• No first-time travelers; prior travel experience necessary.
