HI- IP REHAB OT Acute – Days
City/State: Hilo, Hawaii
Shift: Days Mon-Fri 7:30 am to 4:00 pm
Contract Length: 5 weeks

Job Description:
The role involves covering Rehab and Acute Rehab by evaluating and re-evaluating assigned patients as either Outpatient or Inpatient. You will plan and implement an ongoing therapeutic physical therapy program as prescribed by the ordering physician, regularly update treatment plans, manage a full caseload, and perform re-evaluations based on insurance authorization. Must work Hawaii State and Federal Holidays as necessary and manage EMR with Net Health Therapy and Meditech.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and re-evaluate assigned patients.
- Plan and implement therapeutic physical therapy programs.
- Update treatment plans and home exercise programs regularly.
- Manage a full caseload independently.
- Perform re-evaluations based on insurance authorization.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Outpatient and Acute settings working with adults.
- Active Hawaii license required; must apply upon acceptance of the offer.
- BLS certification from American Red Cross.
- Must arrive the Thursday before the start date for an employee health appointment on Friday.
