Position Details

• Location: San Antonio, TX
• Unit: Physical Therapy
• Shift: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks
• Weekend Requirement: 2 weekend shifts per month
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
• Floating Policy: Required to float as needed during the assignment

Qualifications

• Required Skills:
  • Minimum of 2 years of in-patient rehabilitation or hospital experience
  • Active OT License (No temporary licenses accepted)
• Preferred Skills:
  • 2-3 years of experience in rehabilitation or acute care hospital settings
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish
  • Certification in NDT or brain injury therapy

Responsibilities

The Occupational Therapist will be responsible for:

• Conducting evaluations and treatments for in-patient rehabilitation patients, including those with neurological and orthopedic conditions
• Providing acute evaluations and treatments in various settings, including orthopedics, telemetry, and ICU

Dress Code

• Scrub Color: Sage green/olive scrub top, black scrub pants, sage green scrub jacket; white or black undershirts only
• Nail Policy: Clean and well-kept
• Hair: Must be neat and clean, avoiding extreme styles or colors
• Facial Hair: Clean and neatly trimmed beards, mustaches, and sideburns
• Tattoos: Should be covered whenever possible; visible tattoos will be assessed individually
• Piercings: Visible piercings other than earrings are prohibited

Unit Policies

• Start time must be no later than 8:00 AM
• Attendance and floating policies will apply
