Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA)

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our team in an acute care setting, with the potential for occasional inpatient rehabilitation responsibilities. This role requires availability on weekends and during holidays.

Shift Information

Days: Monday to Friday, with some weekend shifts required.

Minimum Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a relevant setting.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification.
• Rehabilitation certification from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).

Responsibilities

The Physical Therapy Assistant will provide treatment and support to patients in an inpatient setting. Responsibilities include:

• Assisting with patient evaluations and implementing treatment plans.
• Monitoring patient progress and conducting related administrative tasks.
• Collaborating with physical therapists and other healthcare staff to ensure comprehensive care for patients.
