Job Description

We are seeking a passionate and adaptable Travel Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for a large, dynamic skilled nursing facility in Monterey County, CA. The COTA will provide patient-centered care under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist, focusing on enhancing functional independence for residents.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Implement occupational therapy treatment plans for both short-term and long-term residents.
• Communicate effectively with the Occupational Therapist and interdisciplinary care team.
• Ensure compliance with facility policies, Medicare guidelines, and regulatory standards.
• Complete documentation in Net Health according to facility standards.

Requirements

• Active Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) License.
• Experience in Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) preferred; mentorship available for those with 0-1 year experience.
• Strong documentation and time-management skills.
• Flexible and collaborative mindset.
• Preference for Sunday – Thursday or Tuesday – Saturday schedule.

• Flexible schedule: Sunday – Thursday or Tuesday – Saturday.
• Holiday coverage required: No.
