Position Overview

An opportunity is available for an Ultrasonographer to provide diagnostic imaging services. This position involves working primarily during daytime shifts and requires availability for call on weekends.

Duration

The position is for a duration of 13 weeks, with a focus on high-quality patient care and effective communication within a healthcare team.

Shift Details

• Shift: Days, Monday to Friday
• Hours: 10:30 AM to 7:00 PM
• Call: One weekend per month

Location

This position is located in River Oaks, TX.

Qualifications

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS)
• Must have a permanent address greater than 50 miles from the facility
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in the field

Job Responsibilities

The Ultrasonographer will be responsible for performing ultrasound examinations and ensuring the highest standard of patient care. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Conducting sonographic examinations according to established protocols
• Analyzing images and providing preliminary interpretations
• Collaborating with physicians and healthcare staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Maintaining accurate patient records and documentation
• Ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards
