Unit Information

Location: Lewisville, TX

This role involves working in the Ultrasound and Vascular Ultrasound departments with the following characteristics:

• Number of Beds: 196
• Number of Staff: 800+
• Type of Staff: Sonographers (RDMS (AB) or (OB) and RVT (VT) or RVS)
• Typical Patient Ratios: N/A
• Type of Equipment: GE Logiq e10, Parks Flo Lab, Trophon2
• Electronic Medical Records System: Meditech, GE Centricity PACS
• On Call Requirement: Rotating on-call shared between multiple Sonographers
• Floating Requirement: Ability to perform General Ultrasound and Vascular Ultrasound

Qualifications

Must Have:

• RDMS (AB) or (OB)
• RVT (VT) or RVS from CCI
• BLS certification

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Vascular, Pediatric, General, Procedural, Small Parts, and some OR experience

Typical Procedures Performed

• Abdomen and Pregnancy (1st and 2nd trimesters)
• Biophysical Profile
• Vascular procedures (Venous Doppler, Arterial, Grafts, Segmental Pressure Testing)
• Biopsies
• Thoracentesis and Paracentesis
• Testicular examinations
• NICU Neuro Sono Heads
• Surgery cases
• High Level Disinfection for Intra-cavitary probes
