An opportunity is available for an experienced Ultrasound Technologist to join a dedicated team. The role focuses primarily on breast imaging and requires a strong background in both mammography and ultrasound techniques.

Job Details

• Shift: Tuesday through Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
• Shift Length: 8 hours
• Guaranteed Hours: 32 hours per week
• Orientation: 1 week
• Location: City, State

Responsibilities

• Conduct 16 ultrasound scans per day.
• Perform 25 mammography procedures per day.
• Work collaboratively with a radiologist who is present on-site.
• Utilize Hologic mammography and ultrasound equipment.
• Manage patient imaging records within EMR (CERNER) and PACS (CHC) systems.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment in the six scan rooms.

Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in breast imaging, including mammography and breast ultrasound.
• Certifications:
  • Current BLS Certification.
  • Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer in Breast (RDMS-BR) via ARDMS, or ARRT-certified in Breast Ultrasound.
  • If certified in mammography, ARRT Breast certification is required.
• Licenses: Arizona mammography and radiology license required.
• Additional Skills: Experience with IVs is a plus, but not required.

Work Environment

This position does not require clinical involvement. There are no floating assignments, weekends, holidays, or call shifts expected.

Teal scrubs are required for the position.
