Ultrasound Technician

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technician to join our team. This position requires a commitment to providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform ultrasound examinations using advanced Samsung ultrasound equipment.
• Manage and document patient information utilizing Meditech for Health Information Systems/Radiology Information Systems (HIS/RIS) and NovaPACS for Picture Archiving and Communication Systems (PACS).
• Collaborate with an offsite radiologist to interpret ultrasound results and ensure accurate diagnostics.
• Maintain a patient case load of approximately 12-15 patients per day.

Shift Requirements

The Ultrasound Technician will be required to work three 12-hour shifts and participate in rotating on-call duties for nights and weekends.

Education and Qualifications

• Current ARDMS (RVT) certification required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through AHA required.

Work Environment

The technician will operate in a dynamic clinical setting, adhering to professional standards of dress and grooming, including minimal jewelry and no visible piercings beyond traditional ear piercings.
