Job Description:

The Ultrasound Tech will perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations for a fast-paced department, handling a variety of patient types including outpatient, inpatient, and emergency department patients ranging from children to geriatrics.

Responsibilities:

Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment for diagnostic purposes.
Provide accurate and detailed imaging for a variety of exams including abdomen, pelvic, vascular, and OB/GYN studies.
Float between main building and ED for portable imaging as required.
Ensure compliance with safety standards and protocols.
Participate in on-call rotation as scheduled.

Requirements:

1.5 years of experience in acute or outpatient settings.
ARDMS certification and BLS required; RVT preferred or 2 years of basic vascular scan experience.
Experience with EPIC EMR system.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume ED environment.
Strong understanding of medical terminology and procedures related to ultrasound imaging.
